Phillip W. Farmer Scholars Program

The Phillip W. Farmer Scholars Program is an endowed scholarship program that annually provides an exceptional incoming student a full, four-year scholarship that covers all tuition and university fees, a room in Harris Village’s Farmer Hall, and the regular university meal plan.

Farmer Scholars also receive a stipend between their junior and senior year for enrichment through Florida Tech’s summer study abroad program at Oxford University in England.

The Farmer Scholars Program each year selects a Florida resident and high school graduate who is among the top 5 percent of his or her class and demonstrates exceptional academic achievement and outstanding personal character.

Applying for the Farmer Scholarship

The Farmer Scholars Program is highly competitive; only one student receives the award annually. Students interested in being considered for the Farmer Scholars Program need only apply for admission to Florida Tech.

Applicants who are among the top 5% of their class and have provided evidence of exceptional academic achievement and outstanding personal character will be invited to participate in the selection process, which includes a campus visit and interviews with members of the selection committee.
