Advisory: Florida Tech Classes Canceled, Offices Closed Tuesday, Nov. 3

All Florida Tech classes and university activities are canceled and all offices will remain closed Tuesday, Nov. 3, as campus cleans up buildings impacted from severe weather. Note that power has not yet been restored to all parts of campus. Additionally, water pressure appears low; as a precautionary measure, it is advisable to boil water before ingesting.

Only identified essential employees contacted by their supervisors should report to campus Tuesday. All residential students should limit their activities.

All normal operations, including classes, are anticipated to resume Wednesday, Nov. 4. Watch official university communications channels for updates.

What Is the FastTrack Program?

The FastTrack Master's Program allows eligible undergraduate students to take graduate-level coursework before earning their bachelor's degree, accelerating their path to a master's degree and reducing overall educational costs. FastTrack options are available for both on-campus and online students.

How FastTrack Works

  • Up to two graduate courses: Once admitted, students may take up to two graduate courses that can be applied toward both their undergraduate and graduate degree requirements, subject to program approval.
  • Program participation varies: Not all graduate programs participate in FastTrack. Some programs require students to apply through the standard graduate admission process.
  • Program or academic questions: Contact your academic advisor.

Ready to Apply?

To apply for FastTrack, students must:

  • Be classified as a junior or senior
  • Have a minimum of 85 earned credit hours
  • Have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0

How to apply:

Complete the FastTrack application using the same email address you originally used when applying to Florida Tech—not your @my.fit.edu email address.

If you do not remember your original email address or password, contact the Graduate Admission Office for assistance.
