Advisory: Florida Tech Classes Canceled, Offices Remain Closed Wednesday, Nov. 4

All Florida Tech classes and university activities are canceled and all offices will remain closed Wednesday, Nov. 4. Campus cleanup is well underway but power remains out at multiple locations and water service is not fully restored to all necessary buildings. As a precautionary measure, it is advisable to continue to boil water before ingesting.

Only identified essential employees contacted by their supervisors should report to campus Wednesday. The shelter-in-place directive has been lifted so students may move about campus as conditions continue to improve; however, please use caution and avoid any flooded, barricaded or unsafe areas.

Dinner service in Panther Dining Hall is underway and will end at 5 pm. PDH will reopen at 9 a.m. Nov. 4.

Your safety remains our top priority, so please make smart decisions, stay alert, and follow all university instructions All normal operations, including classes, are anticipated to resume Thursday, Nov. 5. Watch official university communications channels for updates.

Panther Dining Hall

Panther Dining Hall is our main residential dining room located in the center of campus, adjacent to the Aquatic Center. Panther Dining is an all you care to eat location the features a variety of display cooking stations including international cuisine, woodstone pizza, gourmet pasta, home-style entrees with carvery, full service grill, deli and panini bar, expansive salad bar, fresh baked desserts and a wide array of beverages.

Our chefs are trained to work with food allergies and dietary restrictions upon request.

Due to continuous service, not all services may be available while we reset between meals. Some entrees may not be available for late night meal service.

Operating Hours - Fall

Monday-Friday: 7:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m.
Weekends: 8:30 a.m. - 8:30 p.m.
