Who is a certified Student?
A certified student has gone through 4-6 weeks of training and completed a complex project.

I saw some material in the shop that would work for my project. Can I use it?
Material in the shop is often somebody's project. Do not use any material without first asking the shop staff if it is OK. Don't leave your project in the shop without asking the staff where it should be stored.

I was in the shop during my introduction course. Am I certified?
Introduction courses, like Intro. to Mechanical Engineering, do not have a complex enough projects to prove proficiency and be fully certified in the machine shop.
