Current Florida Tech students and students transferring to Florida Tech may have opportunities to compete for Army ROTC scholarships.
Campus-Based Scholarship Program
Campus-based scholarships are awarded competitively to enrolled ROTC cadets. Selection is based on college GPA, physical fitness, demonstrated leadership ability, ROTC performance, and other Army requirements.
Scholarships may range from approximately 2 to 3.5 years of benefits depending on eligibility and available funding.
Lateral Entry 2-Year Scholarship Program
This option is intended for students with approximately two years of undergraduate or graduate education remaining. Applicants must have completed qualifying previous military or ROTC training or meet the applicable Basic Camp requirement.
General Requirements
- Cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher
- Applied to and accepted to Florida Tech
- U.S. Citizen or naturalized citizen
- Meet Army physical fitness requirements
- Meet Department of Defense medical qualification requirements
- Complete a personal interview

These programs are available for eligible students interested in commissioning into the Army National Guard or U.S. Army Reserve.
