Bisk College of Business is proud of its associations with the following accrediting bodies and professional organizations.
The Bisk College of Business is a member of the AACSB Business Education Alliance, which the organization describes as “a network of business educators, business, nonprofit, and public-sector organizations dedicated to sharing knowledge and best practices that accelerate innovation in business education.” Membership in AACSB is the first step toward pursuing accreditation; it does not indicate endorsement or accreditation by AACSB.
The Bisk College of Business at Florida Tech is an accredited member of the International Accreditation Council for Business Education (IACBE). IACBE is the leading outcomes-based, professional accreditation agency for business education at universities that have as a primary purpose excellence in teaching and learning. To date, IACBE has accredited approximately 1,000 business and related programs both nationally and internationally.
IACBE does not focus on standards with prescribed inputs and resources; but instead, IACBE is mission-driven and outcome-based. This important distinction allows the Bisk College of Business to focus on student learning outcomes as a driver in continuous improvement and teaching excellence.
The master of business administration-project management degree program is also accredited by the Project Management Institute Global Accreditation Center for Project Management Education Programs (GAC).
Bisk College of Business is a member of the Southeast U.S. Higher Education Consortium for International Business, a partnership between colleges and universities in Georgia, Alabama, Florida, Tennessee, North Carolina and South Carolina that shares information, faculty development, teaching material preparation, and proposal and grant writing.
The Bisk College of Business at Florida Tech makes retention and graduation rate information available to the public per the requirements of its accrediting bodies.
