Facilities Operations


Facilities Operations is responsible for the operation and maintenance of approximately 2,000,000 square feet of classroom, laboratory, housing, dining, office, athletic, and other ancillary facilities on approximately 177 acres, with a staff of 75 full time employees. New construction, renovation, and maintenance functions are accomplished with in-house talent including carpentry and cabinetry, painting, locksmith, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, groundskeeping, grounds construction, welding, and custodial trades. Design, energy Operations, transportation, refuse collection, and recycling are in-house services also provided by Facilities Operations. We support the educational process by assisting in the design, fabrication, and construction of student and faculty course and research projects.
