Relocation Allowance Procedure
Relocation allowance may be authorized by the appropriate Dean or Vice President to assist an employee in their relocation to Brevard County, FL.
The employee must be offered relocation as a term of employment and the maximum allowance is $7,500. Any exception to the maximum allowance of $7,500 requires approval from the President.
If relocation is approved, the Office of Human Resources will initiate the relocation authorization form. Once executed, the university will include the relocation allowance as taxable income to an employee’s regular payroll check following their start date.
