He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from Acharya Nagarjuna University, with specialization in machine learning and safety-critical software systems.

His industry and research expertise includes the development and certification of high-assurance software, with deep specialization in regulatory compliance standards such as FAA DO-178B/C and FDA IEC 62304. Dr. Ponnada has successfully supported and led regulatory audits for aerospace avionics and medical device software, ensuring rigorous adherence to safety and quality standards.

Dr. Ponnada has made significant academic contributions through patents, peer-reviewed publications, and book chapters, with a focus on AI-driven medical decision support systems, healthcare innovation, and aerospace applications.
