The mission of the Environmental Health & Safety Department is to ensure the safety of students, employees and visitors to Florida Institute of Technology and the preservation of the environment by the application of a comprehensive safety program to regulatory and industry standards.
The mission of a Safety Committee is to work towards the elimination of workplace injuries and illnesses; provide a means for active participation of staff, their representatives, and management personnel to assist Florida Tech in achieving a safe and healthful workplace.
