How To Apply To The I/O Program

Well qualified applicants with a bachelor’s degree (or soon to have a bachelor’s degree) in psychology, business, or other related field are encouraged to apply. The successful applicant will have a strong GPA (3.2 or better) as well as experience in research and/or some work or leadership experience. Although there is no formal cut-off for providing optional GRE scores, we find students with around 306 (verbal and quantitative combined) tend to do very well in the program.

An applicant should submit two letters of recommendation, resume/CV, a 750-1000 word statement of objectives that specifies alignment with our program and future career goals, and optional Graduate Record Examination Test (GRE) scores. Official transcripts of all undergraduate and graduate courses attempted must also be submitted.

Our priority deadline for both the MS and PhD programs is December 1, 2023. Applications received after December 1 may be considered if space permits. GRE scores are strongly recommended, but not required, for both programs.
