Aviation Scholarships

The following scholarships are offered by organizations outside of the control of Florida Tech and its affiliates. For information on scholarships and financial aid available through the university, please refer to the Financial Aid Website.

American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics Scholarships

The AIAA Foundation funds a number of scholarships to both undergraduate- and graduate-level students. This furthers a key part of its mission: supporting the success of future aerospace professionals. Various aeronautics related scholarships are available to both graduate and undergraduate students. The scholarships range in value from $1,000 to $5,000. Recipients can apply to renew their scholarship annually until they graduate. There are two application deadlines each year. National Aircraft Finance Association Scholarships

The NAFA Corporate Aviation Business Scholarship was established to benefit university students seeking a business career in Corporate Aviation and, specifically, within the corporate aircraft Finance, Legal and Insurance community.  This Scholarship is offered by the National Aircraft Finance Association ("NAFA"), and the amount of Scholarship funds to be made available each year, and for any one Scholarship winner, shall be determined annually by the NAFA. National Air Transportation Foundation Scholarships

The National Air Transportation Association's research and education arm, the National Air Transportation Foundation (NATF), offers scholarships in several categories. Scholarships are available to students pursuing collegiate aviation degree programs as well as flight training. For more information on these and other scholarships, please visit the NATF's website.

The Ninety-Nines, Inc. Scholarships

The Florida Spaceport Chapter of the Ninety-Nines offers The Mary Blackwell - Anne Walker scholarship for $2,500. This scholarship is for any female pilot planning on making a career in aviation who meets the requirements and is interested in applying. The larger organization of the Ninety-Nines also offers aviation related scholarships to help deserving members achieve their goals.

Fisher House Foundation Scholarships

$1,500 scholarships are available for children of military active-duty, retired, and Guard and Reserve service members. Most of the funds are donated by manufacturers, brokers and suppliers selling groceries in commissaries and every dollar donated to the program by industry or the general public goes to fund the scholarship. The program is administered by the Fisher House Foundation. The program is directed to those pursuing a full time scholastic program.
