Enrollment & Degree Verifications

Florida Tech has authorized the National Student Clearinghouse to act as the official agent for all verifications of student enrollment and degrees. The National Clearinghouse Enrollment Verification Certificate provides confirmation of enrollment status (full-time and part-time), dates of attendance, and degree(s) conferred.

Instructions for International Students to Request an Enrollment Verification Certificate:

Enrollment verification certificates are available free of charge through the National Student Clearinghouse Student self-service.

Please print a copy of FIT's Clearinghouse Letter to send with the enrollment certificate. 

Students can use the Student self-service for the following services:

  • Print official enrollment verification certificates
    • There are three enrollment certificate options - current enrollment, all enrollment or advanced registration. Certificates include the following information:
      • Student name
      • Enrollment status* (full-time, part-time, etc.) and effective date
      • Term start and end dates
  • View enrollment history
  • View the proofs of enrollment sent to student service providers

Follow the steps below to access enrollment certification services through Access:

  1. Login to Access
  2. Click on PAWS
  3. Select: Student
  4. Select: Student Records
  5. Select: Enrollment Verification

Read the information and choose either Current Enrollment or All Enrollment; then click on “Obtain an Enrollment Certificate”

If you require evidence of your estimated costs at Florida Tech, please refer to the first page of your current I-20, “FINANCIAL, Estimated Average Costs section.” If you require the actual costs you have incurred at Florida Tech, please go to PAWS, “Payment/Student Account Information” and print out a copy your “Account Summary.” Information concerning Registration is also available in PAWS.

Definition of Full Time/Part Time Melbourne Campus

The following credit hour standards are used to determine a Melbourne campus student’s enrollment status:
