Parking impacts everyone at Florida Tech, which makes it all the more important for the campus community to be familiar with parking regulations and processes. The Department of Security oversees all university parking and traffic regulations, including vehicle registration, enforcement, lot closures, and ensuring the safety of Florida Tech's students, staff, faculty and guests. Parking regulations are enforced 24 hours a day during the entire calendar year, including summer, holidays and breaks.
All faculty members, staff, and students who park on campus must register their vehicle(s) via the Parking Portal. When registering your vehicle (enter your license plate without dashes or empty spaces), please follow through with the purchase of your parking permit to complete your parking permit registration. The Parking Portal is also the place to purchase a reserved parking spot or pay or appeal a citation. When you receive an appealable citation, and would like to make an appeal, you must login to the Parking Portal using your TRACKS account. Go to your CITATIONS and submit your appeal.
Temporary Parking Permit for Faculty, Staff, and Students: please add your additional vehicle into your account, send your email to parkinginfo@fit.edu with the number of days you need the temporary parking permit.
Parking Permit for Guests: please go to the Parking Portal, create your account, add your vehicle information and get the parking permit. The temporary parking permit is for one day only. If you need your parking permit for additional days, please email us at parkinginfo@fit.edu. You can park in the white parking spots.
If any changes are made to the vehicle registration - such as a new license plate or the sale of the registered vehicle - you must notify the Parking Office by emailing parkinginfo@fit.edu.
