Promotional Items For You To Give Away

Offering your audience complimentary promotional items (also known as freebies, giveaways and "swag") featuring the Florida Tech logo is a fun way to build awareness of, and affinity for, the university. If your department is in need of giveaways for an upcoming activity or event, you have a couple of options:

Purchase Your Own

Administrative and academic units are encouraged and empowered to select and purchase branded giveaways under the condition that the final product is consistent with all approved university brand and graphic identity standards and purchased in accordance with Procurement Services guidelines.

Need assistance or guidance? Complete a Creative Services request for customized artwork or download commonly used logos. Procurement Services maintains a list of frequently used vendors for promotional items.

Request Help from Marketing

The Marketing team understands that many departments or individuals do not have the time or budget required to procure promotional items in advance of a meeting, conference, event, or other outreach opportunity. To help, we maintain an inventory of branded giveaways appropriate for a variety of audiences. 

We are happy to share these items with faculty and staff on an as-needed, case-by-case basis, particularly when designated for activities that are meant to:

  • Generate brand awareness and affinity
  • Engage prospective undergraduate or graduate students
  • Delight VIPs and other special guests of the university, such as local officials, visiting speakers, performers, peer colleagues, meeting attendees, donors, parents, etc.

Marketing does not guarantee that we can support every request. Typically, we can accommodate requests for up to 50 items, though in some cases we may be able to offer more. If you require more items, or need smaller quantities on a more frequent basis, we encourage you to maintain your own stock of items. Requests are evaluated on a case by case basis taking into consideration the nature of the request as well as Marketing resources and priorities. Please submit requests as far in advance as possible to allow adequate time for evaluation, response and fulfillment, no less than 3 business days.
