The application fee may be paid online at the time of application. Application fees are waived for Florida Tech alumni who wish to return for graduate school.
You may pay an application the fee by telephone if needed. To do so, please contact Student Financial Services at (321) 674-8199.

You may email your documents as attachments to Grad-Admissions@fit.edu. We will only accept attachments in one of these formats: PDF, DOC, DOCX, TIF, TIFF, JPG, RTF, XLS, XLSX, JPEG, PNG, or GIF.
If you are emailing more than one document type in an email, please send them as separate attachments. We cannot accept various document types combined into one attachment.
Florida Institute of Technology’s institution code is 5080. GRE scores and TOEFL scores are received by Florida Tech electronically.
Your recommender can send a personal recommendation letter or use the Graduate School Recommendation form.
Letters of recommendation should be sent by your recommender. In some cases we will accept letters from the applicant.

The estimated time for the evaluation process is approximately three weeks once your file is complete.

Each accepted candidate is considered for a Graduate Merit Scholarship. Your scholarship award letter will accompany your admission letter. If awarded, this merit scholarship will not cover all of your expenses.
Each assistantship applicant must submit a completed assistantship application, three letters of reference and a statement of objectives. The priority deadline for all assistantship applications is January 15. Applications received after the program designated deadline will be considered, but late applicants may be at a disadvantage in terms of being admitted and/or receiving scholarships, fellowships and assistantships. It is the student’s responsibility to ensure that the graduate admissions office receives all materials required for evaluation of the application before the deadline. Any student whose home language is not English may be accepted for any degree program but will not be able to enroll for academic courses until certain English language requirements are met. See the English Language Proficiency policy for details.
All degree seeking Melbourne international graduate applicants with any university-level educational experience outside the United States are required to provide the Florida Tech admission office an official foreign credit evaluation (FCE) in English, including the cumulative grade point average. See the Foreign Credential Evaluation policy for details.
Florida Tech will accept course-by-course foreign credential evaluations (FCE) including GPA from any NACES member, although, World Education Services (WES) is Florida Tech's preferred foreign credit evaluator. Transcript Credit Evaluations must be mailed directly from the evaluator to:

Several U.S. institutions recognize three-year degrees as long as the student's total educational background spans 16 years (13 years pre-baccalaureate + 3 years baccalaureate). Florida Tech accepts three-year undergraduate degrees from Bologna countries for enrollment in graduate studies effective January 2016.
The Bologna Process is a series of agreements between European countries to ensure comparability in the standards and quality of higher-education qualifications. The Bologna Process has 50 participating countries.
If you are admitted, you will receive I-20 information along with your admission letter. Note: Please allow 10 days after submission of the ESHIP to receive your I-20.
